Iran 2nd goods exporter to Iraq: Official

Ilam, Aug 10, IRNA – An economic official in this western province said that Iran stands second regarding exports of goods and services to Iraq.

Yarallah Nasiri, head of Ilam industry, mine and trade organization, made the remark at a local ceremony here on Sunday evening.
Turkey and China stood at first and third places respectively.
Nasiri said the country is taking effective measures to flourish exports of non-oil products.
Statistics show that over 360 million dollars' worth of goods have been exported to Iraq through Mehran International Border during the first four months of the Iranian calendar year, started on March 21, 2015, the official said.
Iran and Iraq have planned to exchange trade delegations and hold exhibitions in order to boost economic relations, Nasiri said.
