Akhondi made the remarks in a meeting with visiting Algerian Head of Chamber of Commerce Mohamed Laid Benamor.
In the meeting, the Iranian minister called for removal of red-tapes on issuing visas for businessmen and tourists.
State-run organizations and private sectors in Iran have good memories about cooperation with their Algeria partners at mutual and international level, he said.
Akhoundi welcomed the proposal made by Algeria on increasing the volume of trade between the two countries.
The Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to export its technical and engineering services to Algeira and for this reason has invited Algerian housing minister to pay a visit to Iran, he said.
Iran has called for establishment of a joint fund to promote common investments which is expected to be implemented after removal of existing ambiguities, he said.
Due to high number of businessmen and tourists in both sides, the two governments should remove obstacles, he underlined.
Algerian head of chamber of commerce, for his part, expressed satisfaction with the expansion of trade cooperation between the two countries.
Iran is to introduce its companies inclined to play active role in Algeria to bring the two sides businessmen much closer, he said.
The Algerian head of chamber of commerce, for his part said the active role of Iranian companies in petrochemicals, foodstuffs industries, infrastructures and pharmaceuticals in Algeria and that his country is willing to broaden cooperation with Iran.
Since the level of knowledge in agriculture in Iran is very high, Algeria has remarkable resources for investment opportunities which would be ceded to Iranian companies the same as the European ones, he said.
Algerian Ambassador to Tehran Ahriz Abdelmoun'aam was also present in the meeting.
