'Today no threat against the region is greater than the religious wars and the flames of all religious wars in the Middle East today are ignited by the United States and the Zionist regime,' said Hojjatoleslam Ali Yunesi addressing a conference in Karaj on National Islamic Councils Day.
He said that under such chaotic circumstances in the region Iran enjoys the most desirable security, which is detested by the enemies of Islam who try their best to sow discord among the religious groups and ethnic minorities in the country.
Yunesi said that the tribal, religious and cultural diversity is an opportunity for Iran and not a threat, but the enemies wish to turn it into a problem for the system.
'It is a blessing of Almighty Allah that He has created the people of various races, languages and cultures, and they are not deficiencies, but God's blessings,' he said.
Yunesi further stressed that every single Iranian has rights that no one is entitled the right to deprive him, or her of those rights, or to ignore them.
He meanwhile hoped for the success of the Iranian negotiating team in their talks with the world powers.
