Yemenis will never surrender to aggression: Ansarullah leader

Tehran, April 20, IRNA – Condemning Saudi Arabia's aggression against his country, leader of Yemen's Ansarullah movement Abdul-Malik al-Houthi said the Yemeni nation is seeking its rights and will never surrender.

In a televised speech on Sunday night, Al-Houthi said attack on Yemen is an American, Saudi, Zionist plot.

He said in the attacks, everything, including schools, hospitals, mosques, airports, and innocent people are targetted.

Al-Houthi thanked all countries which have condemned these barbaric crimes and have stood by Yemeni people.

Rejecting the agressors' assertion that the attack is in favor of people of Yemen, al-Houthi said how it could be in favor of Yemen while they are destroying everything.

Yemeni children are being killed by by American warplanes and missiles and Americans set up the targets which are to be bombarded.

“The U.S. is the one who ordered and is running the Saudi war in Yemen,” he said. “Saudi Arabia is only a servant in the hands of the United States.”

“Our fighters will not evacuate from the main cities or the government institutions,” Houthi said in a speech, broadcast by the Houthi-run Al Masirah TV channel. “Anyone who thinks we will surrender is dreaming.”

Rejecting the claims made by Saudi rulers that they are safeguarding Arab Security, al-Houthi said real Arabs will never go under the hegemony of Israel and US.

He stressed that those countries which defend this invasion, are partners of Israel since the Zionist regime has announced that the Saudi war in Yemen is in direction of its national security.

Al-Houthi also rejected the assertions on confronting Iran's influence in Yemen, saying their problem in Yemen has nothing to do with Iran. Iran is a great Islamic country.

He also condemned UN Security Council stance towards Yemen, saying its position was not unexpected for Yemenis because the council consists of hegemonic countries.
