Araqchi leaves Vienna for Tehran

Tehran, Feb 24, IRNA – Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs Abbas Araqchi left Vienna for Tehran on Tuesday after his meeting with IAEA Director-General Yukiya Amano.

After four days of intensive nuclear talks in Geneva, Araqchi conferred on Tuesday with IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano on cooperation and the need to speed up process of transparency of the Iranian nuclear program.

The Iranian top negotiator described nuclear talks as very good and constructive and said cooperation between the two sides will go ahead.

Since IAEA will play decisive role in any probable deal between Iran and G5+1, revision of such cooperation is of prime importance, he said.

Expert meetings will continue between Iran and IAEA in the future as before, he said.

President Hassan Rouhani said last week that the Islamic Republic of Iran adopted plan to indicate trasparency of the national nuclear program.
