Ryabkov: Iran, G 5+1 in contact to determine nuclear talks timetable

Moscow, July 28, IRNA – Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said Iran and Group 5+1 are in contact to determine timetable for next round of nuclear talks.

Ryabkov said on Monday that the timetable for the new round of talks between Iran and Group 5+1 has not been determined and venue of talks is not clear yet, IRNA quoted Ria-Novosti reporting.

He added that bilateral contacts between Iran and member states of Group 5+1 delegations continue.

'Progress in this issue depends on the EU foreign policy Chief Catherine Ashton action to present the timetable.'

According to the reports of Russian news media, the next round of talks between Iran and Group 5+1 is due to be held in early September.

The Russian senior negotiator had already said that six rounds of talks between the two sides had a continuing progress in content, which should be basis of the future agreement.

Talks between Iran and Group 5+1 called Vienna VI were held from July 2 to 19 in Vienna, Austria, and the two sides agreed to continue their negotiations until November to reach the final agreement.
