Nasrallah: Main aims of enemies are Palestine, Al-Aqsa Mosque

Beirut, July 25, IRNA -- Secretary General of Lebanon Hizbollah Seyyed Hassan Nasrallh warned the Zionist regime and said world of Islam is passing through a dangerous period and the main aims of enemies are Palestine and Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Speaking at a ceremony to mark Quds Day and express solidarity with people of Gaza, Nasrallh said the aim of Gaza war today is to conquer the resistance and to take off the power points of it.

He said Muslim world is in its worse conditions, but the first victim is Palestine.

'In this context, I warn that the destruction of prophets’ shrines and worship places may pave the way to destroy the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque by the Zionists.'

Nasrallah said, 'We denounce what the Christians and Muslims have been subjected to in Iraq, as well as the destruction of the prophets’ shrines and worship places.'

He said Syria was and will still be the incubator of the resistance and the impregnable wall in face of the Zionist scheme

He added the stage we are passing through today is the most dangerous one since Palestine’s occupation. Previously we were talking about destroying states and regimes, but today they are working to destroy the people.

'When we talk about conspiracies to wipe out the Palestinian cause, we are talking about an Israeli-US-Western plot backed by several Arab regimes.'

He said the main reasons of the Palestinian cause’s persistence are the triumph of the Islamic revolution in Iran and the steadfastness of Syria in face of the concpiracies

Nasrallah said despite these conspiracies, Palestinian cause is still imposing itself, and what’s coming on in Gaza is a proof.

More on Nasrallah's statements will come later.
