Zarif deplores Zionist crimes as genocide, rights violation

Tehran, July 25, IRNA – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif expressed his deep concern over the recent Israeli attacks against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, and described Tel Aviv's behavior as genocide and blatant violation of human rights freedom.

'No international law with any interpretation or implication can put any name other than crime against humanity and international crime for Israel's attempts,' Zarif said, addressing heads of representative diplomatic missions of the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Tehran.

He noted at no other time the international was humiliated to such extent to satisfy a small group of Zionist activists and their supporters.

The Iranian foreign minister said that massacre of Palestinian people, specially children and women is a clear example of the desperate war crimes of Israel, and criticized the Muslim countries for their passive stance vis-à-vis these incidents.
