Singaporean FM hails progress in Iran-G5+1 negotiations

Kuala Lumpur, July 22, IRNA – Singaporean Foreign Ministry underlined that negotiations are the best way for resolving Iran's nuclear program.

Singapore's foreign ministry in a statement released on its website said final comprehensive agreement will put an end to the international community's concerns over Iran's nuclear program which is beneficial to all.

The Singaporean foreign ministry also asked Iran to make use of the remaining four month to quickly resolve the remaining issues with the six world powers (the US, Russia, China, France and Britain plus Germany).

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his deputies held talks with the world power in Vienna for 18 months.

Zarif and EU Foreign Policy Chief Catherine Ashton announced that the negotiations in Vienna 6 has made tangible progress, but due to differences on some fundamental issues, the talks would be extended by November 24.
