Zarif receives Iceland's, UNHCR's new envoys

Tehran, July 22, IRNA – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif in separate meetings with Iceland's new ambassador to Tehran and new representative of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) underlined Tehran's readiness to expand ties with them.

Speaking in a meeting with Iceland's new accredited ambassador to Tehran Gonar Pulsen, Zarif said: 'Under the present conditions there is a good opportunity for exchange of views between the two countries' officials.

Zarif expressed the hope that the relations between Iran and Iceland would be expanded in different areas.

During the meeting, the Iceland's new ambassador submitted copy of his credentials to the Iranian foreign minister.

The UNHCR's new representative Sivanka Dana Pala also in a separate meeting submitted a copy of his credentials to Zarif.
