Iranian Karatekas end Thailand competitions gaining 22 medals

Tehran, July 21, IRNA – Teen-aged, young and under-22 year old Iranian Karatekas participating in 2014 International Thailand Karate Competitions ended their matches Sunday night gaining 22 medals (12 gold, 8 silver and 2 bronze medals).

The international sports event that had started on Saturday, July 20th in the Thai capital city, Bangkok, in three age groups of teenaged, youth, and hope ended on Sunday evening of the July 22nd.

The Iranian teenaged Karatekas gained 4 gold, two silver and one bronze medal and their youth teammates, too, got 7 gold and one silver medal.

In under-21 year group Iran's share of the medals was one gold, five silver and five bronze medals in Thailand competitions

The Iranian team only competed in committee (challenge) matches of the international sports event.
