Iran declares readiness to admit passing flights: Official

Tehran, July 18, IRNA – Deputy head of Flight Standards of Civil Aviation Organization of Iran voiced the country's readiness to admit some flights passing from Iranian airspace.

Following Malaysian plane's crash in Ukraine and closing the country's airspace, Hamid Habibi declared Iran's readiness to admit passing flights, which intend to change their route and to use Iran's aerial space.

A passenger flight belonging to Malaysian airliner with 280 passengers and 15 crew which was flying from Amsterdam, Netherlands, to Kuala Lumpur , Malaysia, fell in Ukraine's airspace on Thursday.
