Majlis think tank optimistic about ongoing Iran-G5+1 talks in Vienna

Tehran, July 9, IRNA – Head of Majlis (Iranian parliament) Research Center Kazzem Jalali voiced optimism about the ongoing trend of nuclear negotiations between Iran and the six world powers (the US, Russia, China, France and Britain plus Germany).

'Today the atmosphere has been prepared by Iran for achieving results in the negotiations and I hope that the other sides of negotiations will not ruin this atmosphere,' Jalali told reporters on Wednesday.

'We have clearly stated our stances (on the nuclear issues) and the ball is in the field of westerners, the US should have a clear understanding of the negotiations,' he added.

Jalali, also a senior lawmaker, pointed to the behavior and performance of the Americans towards the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), and said, 'The Americans are not sincere in their fight against terrorism and this heinous phenomena has been reproduced by the Americans.'
