Russia determined to find acceptable way in nuclear talks

Moscow, July 5, IRNA – Russian Foreign Ministry, in a statement on Friday, said it was determined to find an acceptable tactic to settle nuclear issue in talks between Iran and Group 5+1.

The statement referred to intensive talks between the two sides to compile text of final agreement.

The statement continued that negotiations between members of Group 5+1 including Russia, China, France, Germany, Britain, USA and the EU Foreign Policy Chief Catherine Ashton and Iranian side with Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, as head of Iran's negotiation team, started their work on June 2 in Vienna.

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov is heading Russian negotiation team in this round of talks.

The statement also referred to trilateral meeting between Iran, Russia and China in Vienna, in which Zarif, Ryabkov and Wang Qun, director general of the Department of Arms Control of China's Foreign Ministry discussed nuclear issues.

It also pointed out that Ryabkov had separate meetings with Catherine Ashton, Abbas Araqchi and Majid Takht-e-Ravanchi, Iran foreign minister deputies, as well as Wendy Sherman and William Burns, the US Secretary of State deputies.

Russian Foreign Ministry underlined that the Russian delegation will do its utmost in Vienna talks to help compile final agreement text and solve remaining problems in this field until July 20, 2014.
