Turkish PM in Tehran for two-day visit

Ankara, Jan 29, IRNA --Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in Tehran for a two-day visit.

Erdogan, heading a high-ranking delegation, was welcomed by Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian upon his arrival at Tehran's Mehrabad Airport.

Iranian First Vice-President Eshaq Jahangiri will officially welcome the Turkish prime minister at Tehran's Sa'adabad cultural and historical complex.

The Turkish prime minister will also meet with President Hassan Rouhani after taking part in joint discussions with Jahangiri.

The meeting of Iran-Turkey joint economic commission will also be held after a two-year delay.

Erdogan's visit to Tehran takes place at the invitation of Jahangiri.
