Relatively strong quake shakes Sar-Jangal in Sistan and Baluchestan

Tehran, Jan 27, IRNA – A relatively strong quake measuring 4.9 on Richter scale shook surrounding area of Sar-Jangal in southeast province of Sistan and Baluchestan on Monday morning.

According to the report of seismography center affiliated to Tehran University Geophysics Institute, the tremor occurred at 06:16 hours local time (02:46 hours GMT) and its epicenter was at 29.01 degrees latitude and 60.13 degrees longitude and in depth of 8 kilometers underground.

There is no immediate report on possible casualties or damage.
