Jazayeri: Iran believes in solving nuclear issue through negotiations

Yazd, Jan 11, IRNA - Deputy Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Brigadier General Masoud Jazayeri said on Saturday that Iran wants its nuclear issue solved through diplomatic means.

Speaking to reporters, he said the enemies try to create obstacles on the way of nuclear talks.

The Islamic Republic of Iran believes that the issue would be resolved through negotiations but the fact should be taken into consideration that those that are against the settlement of the issue would not give up their anti-Iran measures.

Iran has taken part in the recent rounds of talks with lack of confidence in the other side, he said, adding that all should exercise vigilance in deal with the problems being created by enemies.

On the status of Syria and Geneva II conference, he said the Syrian government and nation are now facing one of the biggest assaults launched by the enemies against their interests.

The Syrian people have no trust in those igniting the flames of this war, he said.
