Explosion kills 10 in NW Pakistan

Islamabad, Jan 6, IRNA -- A bomb explosion in Pakistan’s north western tribal region killed 10 persons and injured six others, local media reported on Monday.

A building belonging to the banned outfit Lashkar-e-Islam was the target of the blast in Khyber Agency’s Tirah area. Three of the dead were members of the group.

The injured were shifted to local hospital for medical assistance.

In a separate incident, a blast occurred in a house in Khyber Agency killing a woman.
