Zionist regime angry with Iran's anti-radicalism resolution, Khazaee

New York, Dec 19, IRNA – Iran's Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations Mohammad Khazaei said the Zionist regime is angry with the adoption of the anti-radicalism proposal of the Iranian President Hassan Rouhani as a UN General Assembly resolution.

Talking to IRNA on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, Khazaei said the adoption of the resolution was an important achievement for the UN body.

He said radicalism posed serious threat to the world and should be eradicated.

The United Nations overwhelmingly voted on Wednesday to adopt an Iranian resolution that called for denouncing violence and extremism.

Khazaei said the message of approving this resolution is that Iran is country which seeks justice and peace.
