Iran, G5+1 end expert meeting

Vienna, Oct 31, IRNA – Iran and Group 5+1 concluded the second round of expert meeting in Vienna on Thursday, a day after the first round which followed successful negotiations between Iran and International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) earlier in the week.

In the second round of talks which opened behind closed doors Thursday morning, expert teams from Iran and Group5+1 examined proposals put forward by both sides during Oct 15-16 talks in Geneva.

In Thursday talks, Iranian experts from three ministries of oil, industry, mine and trade and road and urban development, along with experts from Central Bank of Iran (CBI) and Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization (IAEO) held talks with representatives of G5+1.

Iran and six major countries negotiating with Tehran over its nuclear program known as G5+1 (the United States, Britain, France, Russia and China plus Germany) agreed in their negotiations in Geneva two weeks ago to set up expert committees to remove differences as the two sides prepare to have a new round of negotiations in Geneva from Nov 7-8.
