Turkish FM says prospects for Iran-Turkey ties, “very positive”

Ankara, Oct 28, IRNA – Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said in Ankara on Monday that the prospects for Iran-Turkey ties are “very positive.”

Speaking to Iran ambassador to Ankara Alireza Bigdeli, Davutoglu said that Iran and Turkey have multifaceted cooperation on bilateral, regional and international levels, the prospects for bilateral ties are very bright.

Bigdeli for his part underlined using the common ground to expand mutual ties and cooperation in various levels.

He said the $35 billion trade target in the next three years would be possible in light of the growth in development of infrastructures for mutual economic and commercial cooperation.

The ambassador said that all organs are required to play their due role to help materialize the goal.
