Sistan-Baluchestan MPs call for preventing repetition of Saravan terror

Tehran, Oct 27, IRNA – Sistan-Baluchestan MPs in a statement condemned the horrible crimes committed by terrorists in Saravan border on Friday night and called for measures to prevent the repetition of such crimes using all security capacities.

They also urged President Hassan Rouhani to issue a serious warning to the neighboring country, Pakistan.

The statement said, “We, the MPs of Sistan-Baluchestan province denounce the horrible crimes committed in Saravan where 14 border guards were martyred.”

They also expressed condolences to Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei as well as the bereaved families of the victims on the sorrowful occasion.

The statement was read out in Majlis by Zargham Sadeqi, a member of Majlis presiding board Sunday.

Some 14 Iranian border guards were killed in heavy clashes with terrorists in the southeastern province of Sistan-Baluchestan on Friday night.
