Wendy Sherman: US wants new sanctions stop

Tehran, Oct 25, IRNA -- US senior negotiator in Group 5+1 with Iran Wendy Sherman said that the US government wants new sanctions against Iran to be stopped.

IRNA quoting website of the Voice of America ( VOA), Persian Service, that the US Assistant Secretary of State in Political Affairs Wendy Sherman in an exclusive interview with the VOA confirmed that the government do not want approval of new sanctions against Iran until results of this round of talks become clear.

She added that the two sides are trying to reach a mutual understanding.

Reacting to the criticisms of the radicals in Iran concerning her remarks that deceit is part of Iranian DNA, the senior diplomat of the US government stressed that it was a misunderstanding, adding that and track record of lack of confidence between Iran and the US is long.
