Tabriz petrochem exports up 93%

Tabriz, East Azarbaijan, Oct 8, IRNA – Petrochemical exports from Tabriz increased by 93 percent in the first six months of the current Iranian year compared with the figure for the corresponding period last year (started March 21), said managing director of Tabriz Petrochemical Company.

Talking to IRNA, Azim Abdelnejad-Mamqani added that the company exported some 28,000 tons of polymeric materials worth 1,100 billion rials to global markets during the period.

The value of the exported items showed a 2.74-fold rise compared to the figure for correspondent period last year, he said.

He put the value of the company’s output in the past six months at 6,100 billion rials, up by 69 percent compared to the figure for the same period last year.
