Attack on pakistan police injures eight

Islamabad, Oct 8, IRNA – At least eight policemen and civilians were injured in a hand-grenade attack at a police station near the Pakistani southwestern city of Quetta on Tuesday, police sources said.

The injured were shifted to a hospital and doctors said three injured were registered critical.

No group claimed responsibility. The government blames militant groups for attacks on personnel of law enforcement agencies.

Insurgents groups regularly launch attacks on security forces in Quetta, the capital of Balochistan.

They carried out series of attacks on security forces in the earthquake-affected areas in Balochistan since the last month powerful earthquake.
