Dy FM accuses Zionist regime of using unconventional weapons

Tehran, July 31, IRNA – Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab-African Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said Thursday that the Zionist regime had used the new generation of unconventional weapons and WMDs in its offensive on Gaza.

Speaking to IRNA, Amir-Abdollahian said the Zionist regime even has hundreds of nuclear warheads.

When asked to comment on the US decision to send new weapons to Israel, the deputy foreign minister said that the US has already equipped Tell Aviv with different kinds of weapons. He said the Zionist regime's problem is not shortage of weapons, rather it has problem countering the resistance of Gazan people.

Amir-Abdollahian renewed Iran's support for the Palestinian people's resistance and said Iran is waiting for Egypt's permission to use its border to send humanitarian aid to Gaza and transfer the wounded to Iran for treatment.

He said Iran continues with its all-out diplomatic efforts to halt Israeli aggression on Gaza and help lift the blockade on the battered territory.

He made clear that Iran expects Islamic and Arab states to cut off any relations with the Zionist regime in response to the siege on the Gaza Strip.
