Iran's parliamentary delegation to visit Mexico

Tehran, July 30, IRNA – Iranian parliamentary delegations will embark on a visit to Mexico in near future to discuss economic and political issues of mutual interest.

Hossein Sobhaninia, a member of Mjlis presiding board, said that the visit will take place at the invitation of head of Mexican parliament foreign relations commission, Gabriela Cuevas.

He noted that Chairman of Majlis National Security and Foreign Relations Commission Alaeddin Borujerdi will lead the delegation.

Sobhaninia further noted that such visits will help improve bilateral economic and political ties.

Referring to rising parliamentary visits between the two countries in the recent years, he added that parliamentary diplomacy plays a crucial role in promoting political and economic ties.

Chairman of Mexican Parliament Foreign Relations Commission Gabriela Cuevas has already visited Iran last February.
