Health minister, Turkish counterpart discuss Gaza on phone

Tehran, July 28, IRNA - Health Minister Hassan Qazizadeh Hashemi in a telephone conversation with his Turkish counterpart Muhammad Mu'azzin Oglu discussed ways to supply relief aid to defenseless people of Gaza.

Tehran and Ankara are very much concerned over Israeli atrocities in Gaza, Hashemi stated.

He further voiced readiness of several Iranian hospitals to receive injured Palestinians, adding over 1,000 Iranian physicians and nurses have also voiced willingness to supply relief aids to the wounded Palestinians.

Mu'azzin Oglu, for his part, called for removal of the existing obstacles on the way of dispatch of humanitarian supplies to Gaza.

The Turkish Red Crescent is ready to provide relief aids to people of Gaza, he added.
