Dy FM confers with Nasrullah on Gaza

Beirut, July 27, IRNA – Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrullah, in a meeting on Sunday discussed the latest developments in Gaza fighting.

Nasrullah said that the Palestinian Resistance's victory in Gaza is a clear sign of the weakness of the Zionist regime and a prelude to final victory of Palestinians against the occupiers.

He hailed the exemplary resistance of the Palestinian nation to the war machine of the occupying regime of Qods.

Hezbollah secretary-general referred to large pro-Palestine rallies in Iran and across the world on Friday to mark the International Qods Day, saying the demonstrations which were held in response to a call by late founder of Islamic Republic of Iran, Imam Khomeini, and urged by Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, neutralized the plots hatched by enemies.

He lauded the strong support of the Iranian government for the Resistance Movement to the occupying regime.

The Iranian official, for his part, briefed Nasrullah on the efforts made by the Iranian government over the past three weeks to stop the Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip.

Amir-Abdollahian said that the large-scale massacre of civilian people in Gaza, most of them are women and children, indicates the Zionist regime's desperation to commit crimes against humanity and the war crimes.

Amir-Abdollahian arrived in Lebanon on Saturday for talks with Lebanese officials on the ongoing humanitarian tragedy in Gaza.
