High turnout in Int'l Quds Day rallies stressed

Tehran, July 24, IRNA - Iran's Presidential Office for Women and Family Affairs in a statement on Thursday called for high turnout of the Iranian people in the International Quds Day rallies to be held on July 25.

The statement stressed that the Quds Day should be turned to the day of public hatred towards violence and extremism.

Today Gaza is struggling in an unequal battle under the brutal Israeli bombardment and is mourning the loss of innocent civilians, the statement added.

The Presidential Office for Women and Family Affairs also blasted the Zionist regime's brutal attacks on defenseless women in Gaza.

The Father of the Islamic Revolution, the late Imam Khomeini, designated the last Friday of the holy fasting month of Ramdan as the day to support the rights of the Palestinians and liberation of the Holy Quds.
