Justice minister: Iran is committed to help Gazans

Tehran, July 23, IRNA - Justice Minister Mostafa Pourmohammadi said on Wednesday that the Islamic Republic of Iran is committed to render humanitarian supplies to Gaza.

Speaking to reporters, he strongly condemned atrocities of the Zionist regime.

He said that the International Criminal Court must bring the Israeli leaders to justice for the crimes against humanity and the war crimes they perpetrated against the civilians in Gaza since July 8.

He dismissed the pretexts the Israeli leaders resorted to in disproportionate bombardment of civilian targets from the air, land and the sea and said that they deliberately seek to inflict heavy tolls on Palestinians.

He said that the Israeli leaders must understand that Israel is an occupying entity and the Palestinian resistance movement is involved in legitimate campaign to liberate their motherland.

Iran is committed to help Palestinian and people in Gaza in particular and has done its best by this time, he said.

"We have taken diplomatic measures and render media and publicity support to back Gazans vis-a-vis the human tratgedy underway in Gaza," he said.
