3,300 Iranian, foreign journalists to cover Int'l Quds Day rallies

Tehran, July 22, IRNA – Some 3,300 Iranian and foreign reporters, photographers and cameramen will cover the International Quds Day rallies to be held on July 25 in Iran, it was announced here on Tuesday.

Head of Iran's Quds and Intifada Committee Ramezan Sharif made the remarks in a press conference.

In August 1979, the late Founder of the Islamic Republic Imam Khomeini declared the last Friday of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan as Quds Day, calling on Muslims to mark the annual occasion by holding street rallies.

Millions of Iranians will take part in the rallies across the country to voice their support for the Palestinians resistance against the atrocities of the Zionist regime.
