Larijani: Troika Interparliamentary Meeting to echo important message to in defense of Palestine

Tehran, July 19, IRNA – Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani said on Saturday that the meeting of an inter-parliamentary troika of Iran, Mali, and Sudan on July 22 will echo important message of Muslim countries in defense of the oppressed Palestinian people, especially Gazans.

Speaking to Cemil Cicek, Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, on phone on Saturday, Larijani underlined strong support for Gazans under present hard conditions, Larijani said

The phone call followed Larijani's consultations with counterparts in Muslim countries on latest developments in Palestine following aggression of the Quds occupying regime on Gaza and grave human conditions in the region.

Larijani, recalling new round of Zionist regime's attacks on the defenseless people of Gaza, underlined serious support for Gaza people in the face of all-out and merciless attacks of the Quds occupying regime.

Larijani said the Tehran meeting on Gaza will once again show to Zionist occupying regime and its supporters the unity and solidarity of Muslim countries in defense of rights and aspirations of the Palestinian people .

Cicek in turn appreciated Iranian speaker for his efforts in defense of the Palestinian nation and said Gaza conditions have specially made Muslim countries concerned and unhappy.

He said present developments in the world of Islam, especially ongoing Gaza crisis, have made all Muslims unhappy in the auspicious month of Ramadhan.

The two sides discussed adoption of any necessary measure in support of Gaza people in the face of merciless attacks of the Quds occupying regime.

Cickek will take part in the Tehran meeting heading a delegation.
