Iran’s exports via W Azarbaijan Prov up 14%

Tehran, July 16, IRNA – Iran's non-oil exports via West Azarbaijan province increased by 14 percent, Head of West Azarbaijan’s Customs Administration Supervisory Department Mirhashem Seyyed-Ahmadi said on Wednesday.

He added that 943 million dollars worth of non-petroleum goods, with a total weight of 423,000 tons, have been exported via the Iranian Northwestern province of West Azerbaijan’s customs offices since the start of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21, 2014).

From March 21, 2014 to June 21, 2014, the Provincial non-oil exports have grown by 71 percent in terms of weight and 14 percent in terms of value as compared to the corresponding period last year, the official added.
