Rafsanjani: Low profile minority group seek failure of nuclear talks

Tehran, July 13, IRNA - Chairman of the Expediency Council Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani said on Sunday that a very low profile minority group try to create problems for the government and also wish for failure of the country's nuclear talks with the West.

Referring to the support of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution for the government and its diplomacy, he said a very low profile minority group who attributes themselves to the Supreme Leader tries to make the government's development projects fail.

They even explicitly express their wish for failure of nuclear talks between Iran and G5+1, he said.

Addressing a group of social and political activities, he said the enemies try to attribute the savage crimes of Taliban, Al-Qaeda, Bukuharam and Daesh to Islam to promote Islamophobia, Shia-phobia and Iranophobia.

The Iranian people have shown that they express their views in the polling stations, he said.

Some very known individuals claim that the issue of economic sanctions should not be resolved in order to maintain the country's independence and prevent import of foreign made products, Rafsanjani said.
