Iran MPs vote plan for ‘sensitive jobs’

Tehran, July 7, IRNA - Iran's Parliament (Majlis) ratified outlines of a bill obliging state organizations to obtain permission from Intelligence Ministry before hiring people to ‘sensitive positions’.

Out of 229 lawmakers in the parliament on Sunday, 127 MPs voted in favor, 65 against with 12 abstentions, 'Iran Daily' wrote in its Upside/Downside column on Monday.

The parliamentarians are to discuss details of the bill on Tuesday.
