Album released in Kasaei memory

Tehran, July 2, IRNA - A traditional music album has been released in memory of the late Iranian musician Hassan Kasaei.

Titled 'U All and We Nothing', the album has been composed by Davoud Azad.

Poems for the album were selected from a collection of Persian classical rhymes by Hafez and Molana as well as contemporary ones such as Amir Jahed, Massoud Mazloum and Azad himself.

Kasaei was an iconic master of Persian classical music and renowned player of 'ney', the traditional Persian reed flute.

Azad has held a number of international performances, including six concerts at London Royal Festival Hall. He has also performed at prestigious festivals such as the World in North, Art in Action and Sacred Voices.
