Industrial, electrical and computer engineering students will participate in the three-day event, according to Iran Daily's Thursday edition.
Everyone who wants to participate in the event can enroll on http://tehran.startupweekend.ir website.
Startup Weekend is a 54-hour event, which will be attended by developers, designers, marketers, product managers and startup enthusiasts who come together to share ideas, form teams, build products and launch startups.
All activities follow the same basic model: Anyone is welcome to pitch their startup idea and receive feedback from their peers.
Teams organically form around the top ideas (as determined by popular vote) and then it’s a 54-hour business model creation, coding, designing and market validating.
The weekend culminates with presentations by local entrepreneurial leaders with an opportunity for critical feedback.
