Iranian, Tajik scholars urged to make efforts to promote ties

Dushanbe, Jan 31, IRNA – Iran's caretaker ambassador to Tajikistan Mahmoud Sadri on Friday called on the Iranian and Tajik scholars to make efforts to create further proximity between the two nations.

In a meeting with a number of Tajik researchers who have produced a translation of the Holy Quran in verse, Sadri stressed the need for paying due attention to the Quranic teachings.



Iranian cultural attaché in Dushanbe who was also present at the meeting, said that exchange of visits between cultural figures of the two countries is on the agenda of both Tehran and Dushanbe officials.



Referring to plentiful of commonalities between the two nations, Mohammad-Hassan San'ati called for exchange of visits between cultural figures of the two countries in line with proximity between the nations.
