Iran, Turkey study expansion of economic cooperation

Tehran, Jan 30, IRNA – Presidential Advisor and Head of Iran-Turkey joint economic commission Mahmoud Vaezi conferred on Thursday with Turkish Minister of Development and Planning Cevdet Yılmaz on expansion of economic cooperation between the two countries.

In the meeting, the two sides expressed satisfaction with the recent visit of Turkish premier to Tehran and exchanged views on broadening of economic, cultural and political cooperation between the two countries.

It was agreed that Iran-Turkey joint economic cooperation commission meet before the visit of the Iranian president to Turkey.

Both men also hoped for further promotion of bilateral relations.
