S Korean envoy: Expansion of cultural relations has nothing to do with political issues

Tehran, Jan 30, IRNA - South Korean Ambassador to Tehran Sung Wung Yeub said on Thursday that expansion of cultural relations with Iran has nothing to do with political issues or the country's nuclear standoff with the West.

Speaking to IRNA, he said deeply rooted ties between the two nations dated back to 1400 years ago and continuation of such relations is on the agenda of the South Korean government.

Talks between Iran and G5+1 have nothing to do with the promotion of cultural ties and cooperation between the two countries, he said.
