Over $903m worth of goods exported via Isfahan customs office

Isfahan, Jan 26, IRNA – Goods worth $903.105 million have been exported via Isfahan customs house in the past ten months, said director of the Customs Office Sunday.

Talking to IRNA, Assadollah Ahmadi-Vanhari added that exported goods weighed 1,516,000 tons.

The figure showed an increase of 38 percent in terms of weight and a decline of 37 percent in terms of value, he said.

He further noted that the industrial and chemical materials account for a large portion of the exports.

Isfahan Customs House exported 705 types of commodities to 69 countries during the period, Ahmadi said, adding that Iraq ranked first by importing goods worth $356,406,000 from Isfahan.

Afghanistan and Pakistan stood second and third respectively, he said.

Iron, steel, oil products, hand-woven and machine-made carpets were among the main exported items, Ahmadi noted.
