Pistachio harvest in northeastern Iran

The pistachio harvest season has started in 5,900 hectares of gardens in North Khorasan province. At the end of summer, pistachios are collected and then sent to factories for processing. Jajarm and Esfarayen have the largest areas of pistachio production in the province and are among the hubs of pistachio production in eastern Iran.
