Tehran, IRNA – Iranian government has approved removal of tariffs on the imports of meat in order to ease domestic prices.

Based on the cabinet’s new approval, the profit of different types of meat has been reduced to zero, IRNA reported on Sunday.

The government’s previous approval had allocated 11% of profit to meat imports; meanwhile, meat imports’ tariffs were removed according to the latest approval of the cabinet.

Recently, the price of domestic meat had been increased across Iran.
