Tehran, IRNA – Pir-Mohammad Mollazehi, a renowned Iranian subcontinent expert, has died at the age of 77.

Mollazehi, an expert and analyst of political and geopolitical issues of West Asia, Central Asia, Afghanistan and Pakistan, died in a hospital in the capital Tehran on Sunday.

He has written a large number of books and articles on political and international issues.

Born in Iran’s southeastern province of Sistan-Baluchestan, Mollazehi has had large activities in the oral history of this region.
