Ahmad Vahidi, the Minister of Interior of the Islamic Republic of Iran, met with his Pakistani counterpart after the official meeting between the leaders of Iran and Pakistan and the signing of a cooperation agreement.
Sayed Mohsen Reza Naqvi and Ahmed Vahidi are currently negotiating the latest developments related to bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries.
Referring to his constructive talks with his Pakistani counterpart regarding border, security and counter-trafficking cooperation, the Iranian interior minister emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran and Pakistan are serious in dealing with rampant terrorism in the region.
Ahmad Vahidi today (Monday) after meeting with Pakistan's interior minister in Islamabad, in an exclusive interview with IRNA correspondent, said unbridled terrorism is one of the main threats facing the region, which leads to the development of insecurity in the entire region.
"We had a constructive conversation with the Minister of Interior of Pakistan about the threat of terrorism and we believe that both neighboring countries are serious in fighting terrorism," he told IRNA reporter.
