The Russian boxing team arrived in Tehran on Wednesday, April 3, for a joint training camp with the Iranian national team.
During this camp, which will continue until Thursday, April 11, both teams engaged in two friendly matches in seven Olympic weight categories.
The first match took place at Tehran’s Enghelab Sports Complex on Monday, where Iran emerged victorious. The second match is scheduled for Wednesday evening,
Iran’s national boxing team is currently preparing for the Olympics qualifying tournament set to be held in Bangkok, Thailand, from May 25 to June 2.
The 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris are scheduled to run from 27 July to 10 August.
