Tehran, IRNA – The Israeli regime has suspended the operations of 28 diplomatic missions around the world due to fears of retaliation by Iran.

According to The Jerusalem Post, the Israeli regime's authorities have closed about 28 diplomatic missions in different countries due to threats from Iran after the Tel Aviv regime targeted the Iranian consulate in Syria.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, the Hebrew newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth wrote that the embassies of the Zionist regime in Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Morocco and Turkey have been evacuated due to threats from Iran.

On Monday night, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) confirmed the martyrdom of generals Mohammad Reza Zahedi and Mohammad Hadi Haj Rahimi and five of their companions in an Israeli missile strike on the Consulate of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Damascus.
