Tehran, IRNA - Doctors Without Borders (MSF) says it has been deeply shocked by the extent of devastation at the al-Shifa hospital in Gaza City after a two-week raid by the Israeli regime.

The international humanitarian medical organization said in a statement on Tuesday that the largest hospital in the Gaza Strip is now out of commission, leaving Palestinians in northern Gaza with very limited options for medical services.

MSF added that access to al-Shifa hospital remained impossible during the Israeli raid, leaving patients in the hospital deprived of medical care.

According to the World Health Organization, 107 people were trapped inside the al-Shifa hospital and 21 patients lost their lives when the hospital was under siege.

Israeli occupying forces pulled out of al-Shifa hospital on Monday after a two-week raid that has left the medical complex in ruins.
