Tehran, IRNA – Head of the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) Pirhossein Koulivand stressed that the explosions and destructions have caused severe psychological damage to the people of Gaza and this area is now the exhibition of new war crimes in the world.

Kouilvand made the remarks in a meeting with head of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Iran, Vincent Cassard.

Cassard, for his part, said that  the joint actions of the Committee of the Red Cross and the Palestinian Red Crescent cannot sufficiently reduce the sufferings of the people of Gaza because the amount of tragedies in Gaza is high, and this is a moral failure for the international assemblies that cannot end these conflicts.

The head of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Iran made the remarks at  MOU signing ceremony with Koulivand on Wednesday.

"We have seen the medical and therapeutic actions of the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) in West Africa, and this humanitarian activity is very valuable in Africa," Cassard added as saying that :we are in a good time of cooperation and to serve the people we must have a common voice to provide humanitarian services with greater ability".

The Red Cross and the Iranian Red Crescent have common goals in Gaza, and "we also emphasize the end of the hostilities in Gaza and try to make the aid reach the people of Gaza", he highlighted.

Koulivand, for his part, said in the meeting that the people in Gaza die due to the lack of facilities, and the lack of medical and pharmaceutical facilities has led to an increase in casualties.

Explosions and destructions have caused severe psychological damage to the people of Gaza, and this area is now an exhibition of new war crimes in the world, Head of the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) said.
